If working for OC&C in Germany appeals to you, we look forward to receiving your application. You will need:
An excellent academic track record (in any discipline)
To be fluent in German as well as English – and a third language certainly doesn’t hurt!
Experience abroad (academic or professional)
A strong interest in strategy consulting and our organisational culture
A personality that welcomes challenges and is able to meet them
Your application should consist of a one-page cover letter and a two-page CV. We will of course want to know your academic results (including Abitur and degree results), and you should highlight any special academic achievements.
Extra-curricular activities are also important to us, so make sure you tell us about any positions of responsibility or particular achievements. Keep your cover letter brief, but do tell us why you are interested in strategy consulting, why OC&C, and highlight the main reasons we should choose you.
Please submit your application, either for an internship or a permanent position, by email to Mirjam Fuest, who will be happy to answer any questions you have that are not covered in our FAQs.
If your application is successful, we will invite you to Dusseldorf for one of our recruiting days. The first round consists of four one-to-one interviews and one group case study, giving us the chance to get to know you. Successful applicants for an internship will receive an offer after the first round; applicants for a permanent position will have a second round of interviews with two of our Partners, by which time it should be clear to both parties whether there is a good ‘fit’. If your interviewers believe so, you will soon receive a formal offer.
