OC&C shares the Fairtrade Foundation’s vision of a world in which justice and sustainable development are at the heart of trade structures and practices. The Fairtrade Foundation is the independent non-profit organisation that licenses use of the FAIRTRADE Mark on products in the UK in accordance with internationally agreed Fairtrade standards.
Our UK, French and Dutch offices have successfully helped Fairtrade both define their strategy and improve performance.
OC&C also have a long-standing relationship with Impetus Trust, pioneers in venture philanthropy, through whom we have given strategic due diligence and business planning support to a number of charities dealing with youth conflict resolution, rehabilitation of prisoners and ex-offenders, and helping those suffering from eating disorders.
OC&C helped the International Federation of Multiple Sclerosis Societies plan and launch The Sylvia Lawry Centre for Multiple Sclerosis Research - the world’s largest project to develop tools to help deliver new MS therapies.
We also worked with Operation Access, a US-based charity mobilising a network of medical volunteers, hospitals and community clinics to bring outpatient surgeries to the uninsured, and Mavalio, which looks to bring computers and the internet to children and classrooms in East Africa.
