Anna, Consultant

What was your background prior to joining OC&C?

I studied history at Oxford University before taking a year to figure out what I wanted to do after I graduated. I interned at a boutique consulting company and a Fintech start up before travelling around South and Central America for a few months.

What’s your favourite OC&C experience?

Every year OC&C go on an "Away Weekend" for a company conference and a mini holiday. This year we went to Tenerife - it was a great chance to get to know your colleagues better and we even saw whales whilst on a boat trip along the coast!

What do you like to get up to in your free time outside of the office?

I like to try and do something creative on the weekends so I've been going to life drawing for a while. I also love to dance so I often make it to a dance class where (rather embarrassingly) I try my best to recreate dance routines from music videos…

What advice would you give to someone applying at OC&C?

My advice to someone applying to OC&C would be to think calmly and logically about the questions you're asked. Your interviews are meant to be an interesting conversation about business problems you're likely to solve at OC&C - so try and enjoy them!
