Evie, Associate Consultant

What was your background prior to joining OC&C?

Prior to joining OC&C, I graduated with a degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and worked in global health for a year, both at the WHO in Geneva, and with one of our partners, Chris Outram, in an initiative with UCL to establish a Global Business School for Health.

What’s your favourite OC&C experience?

Besides the awesome Away Weekends and ITWs, I find the general project experience enjoyable – going from knowing nothing about an industry, to debating strategic options with the CEO a few weeks later; there are very few industries where you get such exposure and ability to influence the answer so early on in your career.

What do you like to get up to in your free time outside of the office?

Outside of the office, I try to do something creative, and active – I have taken up ceramic classes recently, and enjoy running and hiking.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Take the time to work out and explore what you are interested in – you never know where you will land, but will be grateful for the experience that got you there.
