What was your background prior to joining OC&C?

I joined OC&C London after finishing my degree in economics at university. I started off exploring the banking and finance world before realising that strategy was the route for me.

What’s your favourite OC&C experience?

This year, I’ve been incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to move to New York with OC&C. I’ve been here for a few months now and I’m loving every minute. It’s resulted in new and exciting challenges regarding projects and industries out here (three months in rural US is very different to the city PE life!) but I’ve also been able to get way more involved in building the office out here through recruitment, driving Diversity and Inclusion and our social committee – the FDA!

What do you like to get up to in your free time outside of the office?

Normally tiring out my mates with my overly keen appetite for organised fun and themed gatherings, singing in a choir or maintaining my fitness regime – new sport for this year is trapeze and silks (wish me luck).

What advice would you give to someone applying at OC&C?

Applying for jobs can be pretty overwhelming, but you don’t necessarily need to get stuck worrying about where you might end up in 10-20 years. If you’re interested in how things work and problem solving from critiquing data to identifying a better way to do thing, then consulting at OC&C is a pretty good place to start!
