Michael与欧洲、美洲和亚洲的大型公司董事会合作,并经常就零售、品牌、技术影响、公司治理、社会目标等主题发表演讲和评论。

在OC&C外,Michael参与了多家公司董事会和慈善机构。他是英国巴克莱银行的非执行董事和主要董事会成员、威尔士王子慈善基金会商业委员会主席,以及英国最大的有机食品品牌Duchy Originates的主席。Michael还担任国际开发领域的领先咨询机构Itad的主席、Opera Holland Park受托人、时尚零售学院顾问委员会成员、零售信托(Retail Trust)大使及欧洲工商管理学院客座讲师。他是住房和社区部和地方政府的首席非执行主管。他也是公平贸易组织的前任主席。
