What was your background prior to joining OC&C?
I did my undergrad in Business Administration at the University of Southern California, then worked as a strategic adviser and in managerial roles in various departments at a beverage manufacturing and distribution firm in India before studying for my MBA at INSEAD in France, where OC&C came to recruit and intrigued me!
What’s your favourite OC&C experience?
Brainstorming ideas for what the shape of a consumer facing industry sub-sector might look like in 10 years and what our client can do to change how things will be run. I’ve been involved in such thinking for a few sectors here e.g. gyms, juices, plant-based foods, looking at consumer behaviour patterns, competitive actions and overarching lifestyle trends.
What do you like to get up to in your free time outside of the office?
I love scuba diving and am building my diving toolkit on certain warm-ish weekends and on tropical holidays.
What advice would you give to someone applying at OC&C?
Use the interview process to truly engage with the problem and gauge if you would enjoy doing something like that for a living. It’s a true reflection since interviewers use previous cases they’ve worked on. An authentic problem solving approach and genuine curiosity is a common thread among successful candidates.
