We congratulate CVC Capital Partners on its investment in Volleyball World. Volleyball World is a new partnership between CVC Fund VII and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) which will drive investment in and innovation of volleyball globally. OC&C provided buy-side diligence support to CVC Capital Partners during the transaction.

Volleyball is one of the most popular sport globally with more than 800 million fans and high participation around the world. Volleyball World will become the commercial entity for the global sport, with the objective of increasing the sport’s profile and popularity while driving commercial growth in areas including event hosting, media and sponsorship. Volleyball World will be responsible for the commercial operations of the major international volleyball and beach volleyball events, including the World Championships, Olympic Qualifiers and the Volleyball Nations League.
