Founded in 2012, Protein Works is a Liverpool-based direct-to-consumer nutrition brand, with a vast range of consumer health products spanning protein and meal replacement shakes to supplements and snacks. Through a focus on product innovation and community management the business has built a differentiated position whilst spearheading a digitally led operating model.

Lactalis’ acquisition will support the next phase of Protein Works’ growth. with the combination expected to bring together Lactalis’ scale, brand-building capability, supply chain strength and grocery distribution with Protein Works’ specialist position in functional nutrition.
