Founded in 2012, Alia Mentis is a deep-tech company specialising in the development of advanced composite materials and proprietary technologies for innovative manufacturing processes. The Company acts as a technology partner to OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and industry players across a range of industries such as automotive and motorsport, aerospace and defence, protection and safety, and high-tech industrial applications.

Alia Mentis leverages a differentiated intellectual property portfolio comprising trademarks, proprietary technologies and patents. Its patent portfolio includes three proprietary technologies:

• Koridion, a platform based on active thermo-expandable cores for the production of complex composite components in a single manufacturing step;
• Equalizer, a process module that enables the industrial scalability of production using Koridion cores; and
• Xelion, a functional composite material designed for the absorption and controlled dissipation of energy, used primarily in personal protective equipment.

The proceeds from the transaction will be used to support the development and industrialisation of the Company’s proprietary technologies, strengthen production capacity, enhance its intellectual property portfolio and expand applications across its target markets.
