We are pleased to congratulate Harcos Capital Partners (HCP) on its minority investment in Filmedia Holding, a Milan-based group active in the media creator economy, through a club deal promoted and participated in by HCP. OC&C supported the transaction by providing buy-side commercial due diligence.
The transaction marks the creation of FWD (Forward), a new multi-service platform with the ambition to become Italy’s leading full-funnel creator and content agency. FWD aims to build a scalable and flexible platform, positioned to capture the opportunities of a rapidly evolving market. Their vision is clear: strengthen the service offering within the European Market, integrate synergistic companies, and build a centre of excellence for content amplification in the content media economy.
Filmedia Holding operates through its subsidiaries:
The Italian creator economy is now valued at €4 billion, with over 18,000 professionals and double-digit annual growth, placing the country third in Europe for the number of active creators.
This project represents the first step for Harcos Capital Partners and Filmedia Holding in the creation of a structured group, inspired by international models. The investment was developed through an industrial partnership with Filippo Ubaldini and Federico Chimenti, Co-Founders and managers of the group, who will remain in operational leadership roles.
We look forward to seeing the continued success of all parties involved.
