OC&C advises Xenon on infrastructure deal

We’re pleased to congratulate Xenon on acquiring both Azeta srl and Elettrolinee srl, two key players in the installation and maintenance of medium and low-voltage power networks.

Azeta focuses on the design, construction, and maintenance of medium and low-voltage (MV/LV) electrical lines, as well as public lighting systems, operating in over 300 municipalities in Northern Italy.

Elettrolinee has been active for 40 years in the construction and maintenance of power lines, medium and low-voltage systems, public lighting, aqueducts and gas pipelines, as well as general construction and roadwork.

The acquisition was financed by a pool made up of Ambienta Credit, Clessidra Capital Credit, illimity Bank, illimity Selective Credit and Tages Credit Fund.

The acquisition for Xenon aims to create a specialised infrastructure hub capable of managing the end-to-end process from design to execution of power (and increasingly water) networks. Further this indicates preparation for the growing demand for renewable energy, supporting the modernisation of critical networks to meet the challenges of the energy transition.
