Amir Akhavan

For more than 20 years, Amir has served as a strategic advisor creating tremendous value for clients across the software, technology-enabled marketing, IT business services, and information markets. Before co-founding BrightTower, Amir was a Managing Director at JEGI and served on the firm’s Leadership Team and Operating Committee. He also worked at Deloitte Corporate Finance in the M&A investment banking group and at Deloitte Consulting in their Strategy & Operations group. Before that, Amir worked in EY’s Assurance & Advisory practice focusing on Technology, Marketing and Media, where he attained his CPA. Amir earned his Master’s from the University of Virginia as an Ernst & Young YMP scholar and his Bachelors in Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California (USC).
