What is Recruitment Fraud?

Recruitment fraud is a deceptive practice where scammers pose as legitimate companies to offer illegitimate job opportunities to unsuspecting job seekers. These fraudulent activities often occur through various online channels, such as fake websites or emails designed to mimic official company communications.

Scammers often entice victims by offering illegitimate employment opportunities and requesting personal information or payments under the guise of a legitimate recruitment process.

About OC&C Recruitment

All official OC&C communications about job opportunities will come from an email address ending in @occstrategy.com. If you receive an email that appears to be from OC&C, please verify the domain before responding.

What to Do If You’ve Received an Unsolicited Email:

  1. Verify: Check the email address carefully, including spelling. Only respond if the email is from an address ending @occstrategy.com.
  2. Report: Forward any suspicious emails to [email protected] for investigation.
  3. Flag: Report the email as spam/phishing through your email service provider.
  4. Inform Authorities: Report the incident to your local police or relevant authorities.

Our Interview Process

OC&C never conducts recruitment solely through one medium, such as email, social media or chat-only platforms. We follow a thorough, multi-channel recruitment process.

Sharing Personal Information and Making Payments:
OC&C will not ask for personal information (such as address or banking details) early on in the recruitment process. OC&C will never ask for payment or fees from job applicants.

Research:
Always verify OC&C job postings by visiting our official career page on our website. If in doubt, please contact [email protected] before applying. Research is key to ensuring the legitimacy of any job opportunity.

What to Do If You Suspect Recruitment Fraud

If you suspect that an OC&C job offer or communication is fraudulent, do not take any immediate action. Instead, contact us straight away at [email protected] for verification.
