The King’s Trust has grown to become one of the most important charities supporting young people in the UK, and internationally. OC&C were engaged to support the Trust in developing a new 5-year strategy.
"When you find a charity or cause you really believe in, in my case the King’s Trust and its mission of helping Young People into work, it’s amazing to be able to bring the full strength of OC&C to help them work through their strategic questions."

OC&C supported LILT in the development of its 2030 strategic guidelines. Starting with their original mission – prevention is living – and following an initial scenario overview, we shared possible guiding principles and provided a roadmap for evolution, recommending leadership consolidation in cancer prevention, and expansion in size and territory.
"We launched the Italian pro-bono program in 2022, inspired by the firm’s approach and experiences in other offices. I am really impressed by the level of commitment and enthusiasm exhibited by my colleagues, not only around existing initiatives but also in proposing new partners and projects to build our pipeline."

We have supported AlterActions with two projects: supporting students in structuring the Salvation Army’s third-place project through benchmark analysis and formulating actionable recommendations to frame their partnership proposal, and supervising students in the expansion of the Télémaque association into six new cities.
"Getting involved with Alter’Actions was a unique opportunity to explore a topic with dynamics different from traditional consulting engagements, while supporting students from diverse backgrounds whose fresh ideas and commitment bring genuine added value to the project."

In recent years, the Dutch Food Bank has faced several persistent and compounding challenges that have made it increasingly difficult to achieve its core mission of preventing hunger – including dwindling donations from food producers, an increase in people eligible for food aid, and high volunteer turnover. OC&C supported the Food Bank by first mapping out the full scope of these issues and uncovering the underlying causes. We then collaborated closely with the board to begin a structural transformation aimed at addressing these challenges.
"I’m very grateful that I had the opportunity to propose the pro bono project for the Food Bank, that it was selected, and that I was able to lead it. It was truly inspiring to witness how a group of dedicated volunteers consistently went above and beyond to support the Food Bank - always ready to drop everything to help."

We supported New Settlement – a community enrichment center in the Bronx – in developing a strategic plan to enhance program impact, strengthen fundraising, improve team cohesion, and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
“As a native New Yorker, it was especially meaningful to partner with New Settlement – an organization making a real difference in the Bronx. Helping them sharpen their strategy and deepen their impact reminded me why our pro bono work at OC&C is important.”

Toleranzräume is an organization supported by the German parliament and numerous stakeholders and organizations. We supported them in developing a fundraising concept and the sustainable further development of the initiative.
"The whole project team is incredibly proud for doing the first ever pro bono project in the Munich office. It has been very interesting and inspiring to work on such an important topic for our society."

We supported Slonie na Balkonie to help them navigate ways of working with businesses and developing more strategic approaches to business fundraising process.
"In the Polish office, we're committed to supporting local NGOs, particularly when it involves sharing our business expertise. In this case, we leveraged our client and partner collaboration approach to help the Słonie na Balkonie charity team structure their fundraising efforts—especially in building stronger, more sustainable relationships with businesses."

While B Corp China has successfully used B Store as a tool to communicate with the market and drive awareness of B Corp, the B Store’s position and proposition was still unclear. Our work with B-Corp Asia focused on refining their proposition and positioning, focusing on operation of B Stores, brand and real estate collaborations and transactions.
"Our pro-bono work isn’t just about giving back; it’s a fundamental expression of our commitment to ESG. By dedicating our efforts to pro-bono work, we are not only delivering tangible result, but also living our values and demonstrating that sustainable impact goes hand-in-hand with business excellence."

Movember is a global men’s health charity based in Australia, best known for its annual moustache campaign. The Movember Ahead of the Game program uses sport to teach young players, parents, coaches and volunteers how to talk about mental health. To support this initiative, we developed a forward looking cost model to evaluate and ensure ongoing sustainability of the programme.
"Delivering pro-bono work is a central part of our commitment as a B-Corp, to the communities we work in and our employees. Using our strategic and commercial skills to support other organisations thrive and grow is a really positive way to leverage our abilities."

Behind the scenes

"Being part of this film gave us a moment to pause and reflect — not just on the outcomes we help achieve, but on the people behind them. It was a chance to celebrate the passion, brilliance, and impact our teams bring to everything they do — and it’s been a pleasure to share a glimpse of that through the camera"

Danielle Lestrade
Global Director of People

Our relationships with colleagues, clients, and communities guide every decision we take. As a proud B Corp, we are dedicated to responsible business practices, investing in our people, and making a positive impact by providing pro bono support to meaningful causes.
"OC&C’s vision is not to be the biggest, but to be the best. Seeing our work help create safer experiences for children and young people growing up - I think that’s about as good as an impact can get"
