OC&C support Niche in acquisition of Ausecology

We are pleased to congratulate Niche on their agreement to acquire Ausecology. OC&C supported Niche with commercial due diligence, as well as coordination across various diligence workstreams including financial, tax and legal.

Niche, founded in 2009, is one of Australia’s largest privately owned environmental consultancies with natural capital & offsetting, ecology (terrestrial & aquatic), heritage management and spatial services as primary core services. Niche advises across sectors including government, energy transition, transport and utilities infrastructure, and natural resources management.

Ausecology is a specialist ecology, rehabilitation and environmental consultancy, focusing on the transport, utilities infrastructure, resources and energy transition sectors. This acquisition will support Niche’s goal to strengthen their core environmental capability in Queensland and grow their market share on the east coast of Australia.
