What was your background prior to joining OC&C?

I studied Mathematics & Statistics at University of Southampton before starting my career as an accountant. Since then, I have worked across various industries including, Engineering Services, Pharmaceuticals and Luxury Retail before joining OC&C.

What’s your favourite OC&C experience?

Leading the overhaul of all our financial systems is definitely a highlight. Whilst incredibly challenging implementing multiple integrated systems, it is hugely rewarding seeing the impact they have had across the group, streamlining activities and driving controls.

What do you like to get up to in your free time outside of the office?

I’m an avid cook. You will regularly find me in the kitchen for hours on end trying out new recipes, using ingredients I have never heard of before. Always on the look-out for volunteer taste-testers.

What advice would you give to someone applying at OC&C?

I would encourage anybody applying to OC&C to get stuck in and make the most of all the opportunities available. There’s so much to get involved with, from the diversity networks to the various task teams, the social activities and the constant striving to improve and grow, the possibilities are endless. Get involved!
