Consultant
I studied quantitative methods for my bachelor’s and master’s in finance. Initially, I aimed for a career in investment banking, but through numerous case studies during my master’s and conversations with consultants at career fairs, I discovered that solving complex business problems was more intriguing than advising on transactions. After graduating, I spent three years at a consulting firm focusing on strategy and transformation projects across Europe before joining OC&C.
My favourite OC&C experience was the international training weekend in Lisbon. It happened just after I joined the firm, and it was a fantastic opportunity to meet people from around the world and immerse myself in OC&C’s culture and way of working. The activities were incredibly fun and well-organized. In terms of project work, my first project involved advising a client in the leisure industry within a very niche market. We had to create a market model without any available data, which required us to think outside the box and build the market database from the ground up. This experience taught me that with determination and a creative approach, we can overcome challenges and find solutions even in the most data-scarce environments.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling around Warsaw. The city has some great cycling routes that let me enjoy the weather and explore different parts of the city. Whether I’m riding along the Vistula River or through the historic Old Town, it’s always a refreshing experience. I often cycle with friends, making it a fun way to stay active and catch up with them.
"''When applying to OC&C, most people focus heavily on preparing for case studies, which is essential. However, it's equally important to be yourself. Be ready to discuss who you are, what you represent, and why you like OC&C. Our teams value personalities and human qualities just as much as intelligence.''
