We are pleased to congratulate RoastMaster Capital (RMC) and Harcos Capital Partners (HCP) on their agreement with Café Ottolina S.p.A., the first partner in RMC’s coffee sector aggregation strategy. OC&C provided buy-side commercial due diligence to support this transaction.

Founded in Milan, RoastMaster Capital is a platform focused on consolidating Italy’s highly fragmented coffee roasting market, with a particular emphasis on companies operating in the Ho.Re.Ca. channel. This transaction marks the launch of an ambitious initiative to build a leading Italian roasting group with the scale and capability to compete internationally.

Café Ottolina is a well-established Milanese coffee roaster with a strong heritage dating back to 1948. Now in its fourth generation, the company represents a high-quality, brand-led business that aligns with RMC’s vision of integrating Italian coffee excellence into a unified, growth-focused platform.

Italy is one of the world’s most iconic coffee markets, defined by deep-rooted tradition, but marked by fragmentation and limited investment. This creates a compelling opportunity to build a national champion with the scale to lead both domestically and internationally.
