Jan Sauerbrey Promoted to Managing Director of Analytics

Global, 27 January 2026 – OC&C Strategy Consultants has promoted Düsseldorf based Jan Sauerbrey as Managing Director of Analytics, a newly established senior leadership role reflecting the firm’s continued investment in advanced analytics and AI as a core component of strategic advice.

The Managing Director, Analytics role sits at equivalent seniority to Partner, signalling the importance OC&C places on analytics and AI in supporting clients’ most critical strategic decisions. As analytics and AI increasingly shape board-level decision-making, clients require advisers who can combine strategic judgement with genuine analytical depth. The role makes that senior capability explicit.

Jan has built a strong reputation for delivering insight-led, analytically rigorous work focused on real commercial outcomes. He is regularly sought out by clients for complex, high-stakes engagements, valued for his ability to apply advanced analytics and AI using a combination of analytical judgement, along with proven approaches to the strategic questions faced by senior executives. His work spans multiple industry sectors and geographies, reflecting OC&C’s integrated approach to analytics as a strategic capability embedded across the firm’s industry practices.

In addition to his client work, Jan has played a central role in shaping OC&C’s global analytics capability. Most recently, he was instrumental in integrating the German analytics team into the firm’s international analytics platform, helping to build a more connected, scalable and globally aligned capability. In his new role, Jan will continue to work closely with David Zdravkovic, Martin Schwarzmann, Rhian Woods and the wider Analytics team to further strengthen OC&C’s analytics and AI offering globally.
