OC&C advises Mandarin Capital Partners on Croci transaction

We are pleased to congratulate Mandarin Capital Partners on its recent acquisition of a majority stake in Croci.

Croci is a leading Italian producer of accessories for pets and aquariums. The business was founded more than 30 years ago and has transformed its business model from a distributor to a brand specialized in the development and creation of a wide range of pet accessories (among other kennels, leashes, aquariums, games, snacks and hygiene products) characterized by a strong component of innovation, sustainability and design. The company sells its products under the brand’s Croci, Amtra and Bobby (via the acquisition of Canifrance, a historic transalpine company specializing in high-quality collars and leashes and a widespread and consolidated presence on the French market). Mandarin’s investment will support further internationalisation of Croci building on recent acquisitions of Canifrance and Amtra. Amtra is a German company specialising in accessories for aquariums operating a subsidiary in the high growth Chinese market.

Pet accessories is a rapidly growing sector, extremely resilient and characterized by some trends. First of all, that of the humanization of pets, which are destined to last in the long term.
