OC&C advise Primat on add-on investments in the fasteners’ treatments market

We’re pleased to congratulate Primat, owned by PE fund Hat, on their recent investment in Curtis Metal Finishing & Vi.Pi.Effe Pen. We provided support during the buy-side of the process.

Curtis, an American group with offices in Sterling Heights (Michigan) and Machesney Park (Illinois), provide specialist engineered protective coating, pre-treatment, heat treatment for metal fasteners, with customers across several sectors, including automotive and construction.

Vi.Pi.Effe Pen, an Italian company based in Poirino (Turin), is the main Italian player in the sector of braking treatments for screws (reactive treatments with micro-encapsulated adhesive and sealant pre-applied, non-reactive treatments with self-locking and sealing insert, non-stick coatings), especially intended for applications in the automotive industry.
