OC&C advises Hakim Group on investment partnership with ICG

Hakim Group is the UK’s largest family of independent opticians and audiologists, with a distinctive model that partners with independent practices to provide centralised support across training, IT, finance, procurement, HR and more. Founded in 2005 by optometrist Dr Imran Hakim, the business has grown rapidly to over 500 partner practices across the UK and Ireland, enabling local teams to focus on delivering outstanding care to their communities.
The new partnership with ICG’s European Mid-Market team will provide additional capital to support Hakim Group’s continued growth. The investment will help the business welcome more independent practices to its platform, while further enhancing its capabilities through continued investment in people, technology, and service innovation.
