What inspired you to pursue a career in consulting?

Wide range of interesting work always keeping me engaged, great learning opportunities to develop as a rounded person (soft and technical skills), and the opportunity to make real impact early in my career.

How was your experience during the recruitment and enrolment process at OC&C?

Great experience meeting people across the company from juniors to Partners, leading to some very interesting conversations. The pre-joining dinner at the Tower of London also helped! The two week training period in London as part of the enrolment process prepared me well prior to joining my first project for a large multi-national company.

Could you provide insights into the type of work you handle or share a glimpse of a typical day in your role?

Every day is different- either trying to find out how the company / industry operates, figuring out what questions we really need to answer and the best way to do so, presenting “the answer” to Partners or clients, talking to experts, writing surveys, building financial / market models and lots more…

What aspects of OC&C life do you cherish the most?

In addition to the reasons I joined consulting – I cherish fast career progression and more importantly great people that I enjoy working with and enjoy spending time with after work (international training trips and weekends away are also a great aspect of OC&C life).

What are your aspirations for your future career?

There are many possibilities however I am leaning towards either becoming a Partner or trying my hand at starting my own company.

''I love being able to learn about the inner workings of industries and companies which make the world tick (and most people don't even think about). Being able to advise CEOs on the direction of their company and support decisions in purchasing multi-million / billion companies is a very rewarding part of the job.''
