Founded in 2010, the category-defining pet-sitting marketplace TrustedHousesitters has expanded its global reach to over 140 countries and in 2022 the Pet and Travel innovator delivered 158% year-on-year growth.
TrustedHousesitters has successfully built a global pet-loving community, connecting pet owners and pet sitters. Pet owners can travel with confidence, knowing their pets are being loved and cared for by verified pet sitters, while sitters have the opportunity to stay in unique homes around the world and enjoy the company of pets. Access to the community is granted through payment of an annually recurring subscription by both pet owners and pet sitters.
Following long-running trends, including the premiumisation of the pet sector, this latest acquisition for Mayfair Equity Partners, further bolsters their portfolio in the tech and consumer sectors.
